The stellar rod is a decent production rod. Fuji hardaloy guides, Fuji seats, 5 year limited warranty, cork tape.
I also have the 8 ft. stellar lite and recently purchased two Star Delux rods (e-glass).
The Delux rods that I acquired directly from Star were the last two of a special production run. They are the same type that Steve Mckenna used for his sluggos.
