I know comics have beat this to death, but when I was a kid, there was a dome thing on the playground that we climbed on that was built over ground that was packed so hard that no grass would grow (again, no one died - it's a common theme here). Now you can't bring peanut butter to schools because there's a one in 10 million chance that someone could have a reaction. Now if you're too good, you can't pitch cause you could hurt someone's feelings.
