First trip to Block

All in all a great trip. Perfect conditions for the run from Warwick in the AM. A little sporty in the PM, but that's summer weather. Not a ton of fish (Actually did a bit better for #'s in one of the spots i know on the way back). Ran 90+ miles, missed an area I wanted to hit due to poor planning (couldn't find it on my plotter, and didn't write down the #'s from the Navionics Web App).

But saw alot of the areas I had only heard of. Biggest fluke was 22", buddy managed a 19 or 20. Caught some nice seas bass though and a good # of shorts.

I am amazed at how hard the draggers are working the water around Pt Jude - Block. No wonder fishing is tough.

But can't blame the slow bite on anything other than what it was. Wind was mostly cooperative, drifts were decent. Probably wrong areas at the wrong time.

Thanks for all the intel that was provided.
