And they drop most Novembers. Now when you look how well Obama is doing for us on the price of Gas (he has influence but not control on prices) and compare it over 11 years you will see that prices are far higher now, and have a cyclical dip in November
But let me put this in more historical perspective - I will use the last 11 years which will cover all of Obama and half of Bush.
Note that the chart does not range from 0$ per gallon to $5/ gal which would give a more accurate view on overall increases
