Smitty looks good so far you got a long way to go to get to the computer stage though. This is what I was talking about in the other thread on here a while ago for home-owner type machines. That's a great little inexpensive 2 axis mill. You'll have a blast with someof the pre-canned stuff out there.

What kind of tolerance are you expecting to keep with that and what did you use for motion stuff?
motion stuff as in what is the axis sliding on??
i made a bunch of roller rails that work against each other as to not let the parts twist or lift off.


as far as tolerance as close as i can get lol.

it will have a router on it at first with a straight cutting bit on it to make a pass down the wood and on its run back to home it will move in a hair to make a smooth final cut i hope lol.

very little if and play between the two Pieces im verrrry happy with that.
