New Member Intro
Hi All:
Just wanted to say a quick hello. I just joined this board, but have been posting/reading some of the other boards for a few years now.
I fish mainly the north and south shores of Long Island and Montauk.
Not sure if this is mandatory here, but here is my welcome joke:
2 guys were fishing at their favorite open beach, when the DEP shows up.
One of the guys tossed his rod down and started running over the dunes. The DEP officer takes off after him. After a few minutes the DEP finally catches up to him.
"Hey! Let me see your Marine Recreational Fishing License," the officer demands.
The guy hunches over to catch his breath and then pulls out his license and hands it to the officer.
"Hey buddy, why did you run from me if you have this license? I was just checking to make sure you had an up to date license."
"I know," the guy replied, "but my buddy back there....he doesn't have one!"
