Most of them had not accomplished more than Trump, nor as much. Most of them would have thought that your snobbish view was more suitable to the Continental European elites, than representative of American individualist character.

Tweety's leadership qualities have been at best deadly to Americans.

Oh, for Pete's sake! At its best!!? At its best we were having the best economy in the world.

America is (supposed to be) the greatest country on science and resources. This is why in the midst of international catastrophes, the USA usually takes leadership role, earning global admiration.

Why is it supposed to be that? The Founders had a different concept. They didn't propose a competition for global admiration. They didn't want to be the best "country" so much as the freest people. If they considered us a "global" leader, they would think so only as a living example of a society that showed a way for individuals to freely pursue life, liberty, and happiness. They would have wanted all the people of all other countries to have the same liberties. And for them to be good and peaceful and successful trading partners. But they had no hankering to be embroiled in global catastrophes, neither as a leader nor a follower.

Tweety cut off the world

How so and what do you mean. Travel bans?

and did nothing to help with a global response.

That's not true. As for the global conference to raise money for coronavirus vaccine:

US "Senior administration officials said that the U.S. is supportive of the summit and that the administration has already provided $2.4 billion in total for the coronavirus response, including economic assistance, global health funding and humanitarian aid.

"Despite its absence at the pledging summit, the U.S. has and will continue to cooperate on research efforts, the two senior officials said, arguing that participation in international conferences like this one doesn't speak to work on the scientific front, where U.S. public and private research has helped expand global understanding of COVID-19.

"There's really a tremendous amount of international coordination that is ongoing on vaccine, therapeutic and diagnostic efforts, so we have had an extraordinary ramp-up of international coordination. That is something that is ongoing," the first official said. "We are going to work very closely with European partners and others around the world and continue to lead in that effort to achieve a robust response."

And the most important cooperation is not between countries, but between the scientists, researchers, medical practioners, and inter country agencies

As for here at home, we have all these wonderful, unconstitutional regulatory agencies that are supposed to be attending to the work of fighting the virus. As well as the states and their agencies.

Don't even know what you mean by "global." You mean like there's this gathering of all the nations of the earth who are all working in unison. Really?

The result was, that countries that expected a global response were left on their own to figure it out,

Wait . . . the rest of the globe wasn't in unison, and the US not being the leader left countries to figure it out on their own? Couldn't they all figure it out together without us. Doesn't sound like much global unity is existing out there.

as efforts to coordinate with the WHO took time to have a reorganized method of response.

Coordinate with the WHO? Isn't that who coordinated with China to tell us initially that the virus was not very transmittable? That travel bans were not necessary. That we shouldn't be overly concerned about it?

As a result, global anger at USA, and embarrassment for its people and NOT ONLY did Tweety fail to assume the traditional USA role, he actively worked to harm other nations because of his incompetence.

Global Anger!!! Whoa . . . look out. Don't remember any actual embarrassment by anybody I know. There was this PeteF and Dem and leftist media anger and this media reported embarrassment--kinda like ginned up.

And this traditional USA role--like how it took us two years before entering WWI and the last to jump into WWII.

And Trump actively worked to harm other nations? I remember China actively allowing the virus to spread worldwide, but that's just a mere bagatelle. It's Trump, the real villain for not taking on the role of the World leader.

He announced cutting funding to WHO,

Folks there should take a pay cut for the poor job they did in the beginning before we cut their funds.

shrinking US influence there, he refused to join global vaccine effort,

The vaccine effort seems to be going very well. Don't know why he has to join it, even though he asked for and promoted it. And praises it. What . . . do you want him to roll up his sleeves and help with the research activities, or sweep the floors for them? Those companies have been discovering medical cures for decades without Trump joining them.

he worked to bribe and steal resources ordered by our allies, because we had failed to prepare.

That's a hoot--you erroneously criticized him for supposedly sending our scarce supplies to China, now you say he's stealing stuff for us. Can't win for losing. Don't know how that is going, but, supposedly, we're helping to stock supplies of masks and ventilators to other countries who have a shortage.

If Tweety had simply shown the competence of Trudeau in Canada - who hasn't done an amazing job, but at least stopped catastrophic outcome -

Thank God we don't have the likes of Trudeau as President. But if the Dems win, we may very well get someone of his far left "caliber."

this would have been a nothing on the election, no one blames Tweety for there being a virus (blame is not important yeah, it kinda is for you), they are terrified that his lack of coordinated effort or even a national plan,

there is a national plan in place that he followed and there is coordination with the states who have the bulk of the responsibility in carrying out those plans.

displayed an incompetence that made it clear he was in no way capable of managing the presidency.

He displayed quite a bit of competence in carrying out the plan.

Tweety could have used his bully pulpit to encourage the best of Americans. He could have laid out the science of why masks work, why social distancing works, and told Americans - just like in WW2 - they had to unify with a single mindset in the homeland to defeat the enemy. And Fox would have said the exact opposite of what it does now, and praised the president for showing leadership. Then this whole "anti mask" crap would not be happening.
He is encouraging us to where masks when appropriate and social distancing and encouraging us to believe that things will get better and that our economy will rebound and that we are a great country and we shall overcome this monster.[/QUOTE]

At this point, I’d say masks are appropriate from the minute you go to open your front door knob.

By the way, I make sure to tell every maskless knob in Massachusetts just how smart and handsome they are until they run screaming to their Trump Train.
