I don't know the % and purposely did not count them bc I think people can now get a way w/this type of anger, etc. A hate crime against someone should bother us all - not just against someone you think has the same political views. Trump at his rallies promoted the idea of violence when protestors did something and he would say things to incite his supporters. I would think a tiny % is from people from "the other side" (and I hate using that word).

While not a hate crime there have been a lot more flying of the Confederate flag.

I would say all hate crimes are done by a$$holes.
