They aren't waterproof like a latex gasket but the wrists can be cinched down. Plenty of velcro so you can make them very tight.
The design on the neck should easily keep water out. At least on me the zipper comes up right to my neck and then a neoprene flap folds over that. Hood wraps around nicely.
