ITS STILL ON FIRE!!!
Hello all, well the bite continues to be strong despite the few colder evening we have had over the past week. We still have a ton of big bluefish around and some of them are getting bigger by the day, we caught 2 in the past 3 days , one was 14 lbs and the other 13lbs but there are alot in that 8 - 12 lb range.
The Bass bite is still on fire as well as we have still been averaging well over a dozen keeper bass a day between 20 & 35 lbs , so life is still pretty good in Boston Harbor, Usually people all have the boats out of the water mostly by now, but if you can hold off, I would as there are still Pogies and Bass in Maine and NH as of a few days ago, so we have a bit of time left to still beat um up.
We still have alot of adult pogies and baby pogies here as well so I think we will have fish well into Novemeber for those that will be willing to bare the elements. It has been cold running in the morning but once the sun is up it has been just awesome out there.
The top water bite is on fire as well as you could walk across fish and bait right now from The long Island bridge all the way to the airport on a daily basis, We have not done the light tackle thing as we have been concentrating on getting clients into their fish of a lifetime as now is the best shot we have had here in a long time.
We are going to keep fishing as long as the fish are here to be had, so if you are interested in a shared trip or a private trip let us know as we have weekends and weekdays available. Just give us a call or drop us an email and we will try and accomodate you the best we can.
