Finished up this weekend last night. This is a great take and a real fun time. It's easy to see why tix sold out in 8 hours. My recap of NOTB and EBF:
NOTB on Friday 3/11
Featured over 40 barrel aged beers. Some of which I had never heard of and some which were made just for this event. Some notables for me:
The Lost Abbey Double Red Poppy
Southern Tier Oak Aged Unearthly
Pretty Things Fluffy White Rabbit
Firestone Walker 14
Great Divide Barrel Aged Yeti

There was also Utopias there. My thoughts on it are as follows:
At that ABV (27%) I don't know how it can be considered a beer. And secondly,at that ABV,I'd rather have a cordial or a liqeur. In the pic below of the two kegs, the one on the left is Utopias. Estimated keg value is about $4K...

EBF Night session on Sat 3/12
For this, you get the more mainstream beers and ones that are more commonly available. There are some experimental beers, including one I had, that are made just for the fest. Some favorites for me:
Founders KBS (which also had the longest line from open to close)
Avery's Meph Addict and Maharaja
Ghandi Bot
Short's Brewing The Gambler
The Lost Abbey Saison Blanc

The oddest beer of the fest was,and I kid you not, made with baby formula and dispensed thru a breast pump. It was called Dark Horse Uber Boober cream ale. Had to try it. Let's just say it was more for the novelty than the beer. Pic is below of the dispenser.
All in all,was an awesome time. Will definitely go again next year..
