I have yet to do a surf rod. Done all kinds of boat rods and 50's and small spinners ........so take this with a grain of salt.
but, That doesn't look right to me. The collector looks very close to the reel. Also very surprised that the frame on the Saragossa doesn't have an angle to it more than that?????
Andy has a 1201m spinner and conv I think he said. Have him take some measurements on his rod and guides so you can cheat a little and compare.
And before you wrap gotta tape on and test cast. To nice of a rod to find out later it could have been layed out better the first time.......
Most guys I believe put the reel seat the distance from their have to your armpit, is that 23 for you?
