Epoxy for porcelian repair

My wife's prized cookie jar (I'm not kidding) has developed two long cracks in the front. They don't go all the way through but it's certainly going to break sooner or later.

I was going to just embed some fiberglass mesh into epoxy from the inside and ensure it's encapsulated well. I'm assuming the epoxy is pretty much food safe once cured...

Will EnviroTex Lite be strong enough for this or should I use regular epoxy? Or for that matter do I need a special food safe epoxy to be sure?
