funny aside.....and... "innocent harmless racist" ...perhaps ... when I was in high school, our mascot was the "Islanders"....some of my classmates decided to support the varsity basketball team at a home game one night by showing up in loin cloths only with their faces and chests painted brown holding spears and with bones in their noses and on their heads... "Islanders" , so they thought.....didn't go so well for them in the Dean's office the next day ...
