An old friend of mine in High School was a massive Joe Bonamassa fan. He tried twice to see him live but his cancer forced him to miss both chances. After he died Joe was going to play at the historic theatre in our hometown in Iowa. The guys all flew in and made a celebration of it. Amazing concert, not just the guitar but the entire production was off the charts.

Friend who died was also a massive sports fan. The day after we left (we were told to come immediately) he met his sports hero Brett Farve at his own house. The photo of him, what was left of him, with Farve is priceless. He died two weeks later having checked his two last bucket list items off.
