Banner year for migrating birds - there are 7 reported snow owls on Plum Island - Parker River Reserve. One has taken residence fairly close to the PI Turnpike. They are trapping them at logan and trying to relocate them to the reserve. The one I was watching stands about 3 feet tall and is majestic.
