Another trip to Vermont

Was able to escape a few days of Tropical storm Jose by taking a road trip to Stowe Vermont over the weekend. First stop as always is the Blackback Pub in Waterbury for a few hard to find drafts. Then up to Stowe where we packed up the cooler with Heady, Focal Banger, and Crusher at Alchemist. Our hotel lounge had perhaps my new favorite - Fiddlehead IPA - on tap. Next day after a morning hike we took a trip to perhaps the prettiest brewery I've ever visited - Hill Farmstead in Greensboro. Wow - well worth the drive and located off some dirt roads deep in the middle of nowhere - until you see all the cars. And the beers - love them. Picked up a few sixes and few bottles to add to cooler. Back to Stowe for dinner at The Bench - big selection of drafts. On the way home stopped in a little convenience store that sometimes has Sip of Sunshine on off days - pay dirt again. (Note to self - bring larger cooler next trip). If anyone near Newport is interested in some fresh Heady I'd be willing to trade for some fresh Treehouse or Tilted Barn IPAs. Shoot me a message. Cheers.
