Best thing I found was preventative, Yoga is number one, also keep moving as in motion is lotion, Stretching every day, once minimum- morning and night better, after hot shower best, stay hydrated. Stretch before and during heavy exercise like shoveling, twisting your back is brutal on your low back, those are the muscle that will form knots at your sciatic nerve and cause the pain down the leg, getting that muscle out of spasm is key to reduce the pain. Hot bath, massage, stretching(especially the one where you lay down on your back, cross your foot over your other kneecap and stretch the other way pulling slowly- I don't know the name of it)

if that doesn't work, drink heavily maybe mix in a muscle relaxant or two
good luck, I know it sucks

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.
