"purpose of government is governance, not entertainment"

Agreed, and I hate the entertainment aspect of his presidency, I dislike it more than you do, because my disdain is genuine and not partisan.

I like much (not all) of his governance - I love the judges he's appointing (one of his most important duties), love the tax cuts, love the stock market, love the low unemployment especially for minorities, love the GDP growth, love the wage growth, love that he's adding more manufacturing jobs than Obama did in his last two years, love that Mexico is sending troops to its southern border. I don't like the deficits, I don't like that he didn't build a wall when the GOP controlled Congress.

I hate the outlandish things he says and does. I can criticize the guy on my side for being a jerk. You can't do the same.
Actually what Trump does is says one thing, can't achieve it and then claims victory.
You’re still confused about what side I’m on.
We’ll pay the price for a long time for Trump’s destruction of the Republican Party.
Just now he’s said he’ll take aid from foreign powers again to get elected, he doesn’t have to tell the FBI.
Somehow it would be Ok if it came thru Norway and the FBI director is wrong in saying you need to report it.
Keep believing Jim, there’s no consequences for his actions because you think you got something.

Frasier: Niles, I’ve just had the most marvelous idea for a website! People will post their opinions, cheeky bon mots, and insights, and others will reply in kind!

Niles: You have met “people”, haven’t you?
