Fish are bigger and badder especially using spinning gear. Shimano Spheros 18000, Saragosa 18000, Penn 950, Fin Nor 850 all good reels that won't break the bank and have capacity for lots o line.
My Fin Nor 850 has ~450 80lb braid.
