Talking Cape cod fishing report for 5/18 & 5/19

Well Monday we launched the boat in Boston Harbor, at our Quincy Marina so we are ready to fish. Monday evening Bill & I went down to the south side of the cape to do a little Shore fishing for Bluefish

From the time we pulled into the parking lot guys were hookin up from the beach, so we got on the waders and had at it. We ended up landing 16 in an hour and a half. There were alot of chases going on as were were throwing Roberts Rangers. There were some big choppers in there as we landed a couple in that 10 - 12 lb range. Then all of the sudden the wind changed and came off of our shoulders from behind and it was by by Bluefish!!! The bite shut down and the fish moved out.

On Tuesday my Nephew, Now, Captain Adam Silvis, hit the south side again. He got down there about 5 Pm and the wind was howling at about 20 kts SW which is the perfect wind and the tide was incoming. He hammered the Blues from the time he got there until he came out of the water around dark, total was around 40 Blues!!! He said it was awesome as they were jumpin everywhere, and were fat and throwing up squid as they had been gorgin themselves on the Stuff.

There is nothing better than getting into a blue fish blitz so if you want to do some shore fishing and you can not find any bass you owe it to yourself to give this a go!!!!
