I paint my boat every few years with one part International Brightside polyurethane. Relatively inexpensive compared to an awl grip job.

If your doing the awl grip yourself and spend the time on prep it can be relatively inexpensive.

What I am saying is this. If your having this done professional for $5-6K it will look great until that jig bounces of the hull or you hit the dock hard and then your a bit pissed.

Be practical about it if you paying $$ to have it done, better things to spend $$ on................
