You may have answered your own question, Northcoast. I run a 19cc in the bay and ocean front and it is perfect. Paired with an ETEC 130 it is fast and extremely economical and does't require costly winterizing like the 4S.
You can address the shade thing in various ways i.e.. t-top, bow dodger or bimini.
Made right in Bristol so another plus for any needs that may arise. Going into my 4th season and she has been flawless.
