I borrowed a spring scale and I figure I can use it to set up the drag on my reels. Here's my set-ups:
Lami SK 10 MS, Penn Pursuit, both with Penn 105CS reels, Big Game 30# mono, 60# flouro leaders.
I'd like to know a good starting point to set the drag at. I'm guessing at around 8#-10#s. I'm guessing there's no "correct" answer, and it's a matter of personal prefference, but any tips and suggestions are appreciated.
