and change? doesn’t that imply that things are currently pretty damn bad? No, I don't think it does. Isn't that part of trying to do better - hope to make things better and if there is a way to do something better, than make that change. Totally different from implying that America is no longer great and and we need to make it great again. but it’s ok when obama says that currently, america stinks. and he cane up with that slogan way before the market crash, so it wasn’t that .

No double standard. It just that some people are ignoring what some people are implying what MAGA (and build the wall) mean.
