up from the marble and below the ferrule i added the "walking stick grip" , also paco style, really helps while deep wading and if needed you can hold the rod in your teeth while climbing up a rock, also helps in separating the rod too. That grip is 7", it doesnt effect casting at all.

I used fuji k frames, all double foot, im not a fan of single foots as they tend to get bend easily at least for me anyway.

sizes are 25,16,12,8,8,8 then tip.

measurements from tip are 5.5",12",21",31.25"44.5" and 60", 25 guide ended up being 39" from reel face

I did metallic green thread wraps on the 25,16 and 12 and all black wraps on the 8s.

Just finished the last coat of epoxy on the guides last night and took these pics this morning.

still need to weigh the finished rod and really test its casting weight range.

Im still building all my rods with a handwrapper, it is slower but its what i have.
