Take It Up A Notch
I admire all you turners! I happen have a Christian plug and I admire its originality. It scared me to fish it because I might lose it. If someone has a patent and it's duplicated to a "T" that's one thing. If you guys (and someday I'd be honored to be) take a basic design and go your own way with it (or as Emeril says "Take it up a notch") so be it. It's a tribute and a warning to the designer to be on his toes. Someone may improve on it or change it and there's nothing he can do about that.
Go with your instinct, bro! All you turn Bro's!

Everything man-made is based on, or an improvement on, work or ideas that have gone before. That's how human progress is made. From what I've seen turned here and on other sites, all you plug builders are making very much improved versions of classic plugs. And some are better than others. I don't see it as theft of intellectual property at all , just an evolution of fishing tools. A different opinion and nothing to get my a$$ in an uproar over.

Nice plug Taggage, I have not used mine yet but there's always next spring.
Karl, ya didn't miss nothing last night on the striperman's beach only one fish on as the wiggly hit the water and it came off after 5 seconds. I'm o for 2 there oh well, it was nice to get out in that salt air and good company. His new sled is alot more roomy, but he needs that cooler rack again. Fishing all over out there is slow this week
You have a rising star?
