Question Lathe tools

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for advise on where to buy my begining lathe tools. I did a search and it seems as if I should purchase a gouge and skew to start out.

I checked woodcraft supply and they did not have any skews listed. Am I on the right track as far as what I'm buying ? Where else should I look for lathe tools ? Are the tools in Grizzly " junk " ?

Thanks in advance . I'll be asking alot of questions in the future !

If you are looking for an inexpensive set go to Home Depot. If you want a nice set buy Sorby's. They can be found at WoodWorkers Warehouse or various internet sites. Personally I would go with the Sorby's then you don't end up with 2 sets like I did.
