Went down the Race this morning....beautiful morning and day, nice and sunny, warm, thats right warm...remember it is Nov. 7. No fish!!! None!!! Sorry to see it end, I put it off as long as I could but thats it! The seagulls, terns, and gannetts, had a great day together. Just me and them. Pretty sociable when you get to know them!!! I shared my donuts with them and they split their sandeels and dogfish carcasses with me. We had a ball. Then I watched them crash the water for most of the morning. Time to clean all my stuff and pack it away and break out my ice fishing tilts!!!!????? God I hate winter. Wake me when March gets here!
