Those cocohoe queens that rwilhelm has for his avatar work just as good as the red gills. I love em.. you can use them as a teaser, or throw a lead head on them and use them solomente.
Ånd If I remember right you can get 100 of them for 14 or 16 bucks...!

Yes they work. last month I did the ol' double hook up. 35" bass on the cocohoe, 37 1/2" on the plug..
It impares casting range, so I only do it when I know I dont have to cast far.

when using a cocahoe as a teaser do you rig it with a hook or jighead? and what size hook ?

Best used unweighted as a teaser.
Typical saltwater jig applications are 1/4 to 1/2 oz.
H&H makes BALLSY jig heads.
