Rich Murphy Tying Class @ SWE

Dates: December 13 2003
Time: 10am-4pm
Location: The Saltwater Edge
Cost: $60.00 per person (few seats still open)

If you own a package of Sili Skin and have attempted to use this material you probably have noticed it can be a bit overwhelming to use. Rich Murphy has been tying saltwater patterns for years and has many flies tied by the Umpqua Tying Team. Rich has been mentioned in many books and magazine articles as well as on many of your favorite websites for fly fishing. Rich will be tying a few patterns with Sili Skin like the RM Flat Side 3, and both types of Gummy Minnows, as well as some of his other productive patterns. Rich will be supplying all the materials for this class. Tiers must have there own vise and tools. Class is designed for advanced beginners and intermediate tiers just to help keep the class moving to allow time to get all the flies mentioned for the class. Space is limited so contact the SWE soon to reserve your spot. For more info call the store at 401-842-0062 or email craig@saltwateredge.com Thanks guys!

Flies to be covered:

RM Flatside 3

Chocklett’s Gummy Minnow

Chocklett’s Gummy Sand Eel

RM Silverside

RM Sting (Sili-Skinned Sand Shrimp)

Sili-Skinned Pamet Special

Sili-Skinned Conomo Special

If time permits, Rich will do a tying demonstration of a classic crustacean pattern, Bill Catherwood’s Articulated Crab.
