Weekend Plans???

Going to give some live buckys a chance at immortality tonight and other than than a weekend with some family, yard work, and just maybe, one more round of fishing...

What are you all doing?? Also looking for pictures from the front page for fishing the next few weeks - so if you get something good - send it in (the pic, not the fish :P )...

BTW - many of you have probably already seen this but here's a shot of a F/A 18C as it transitions into supersonic... I'm told it's legit...

I'm planning on a 3am wakeup call and a 5 am first cast at the Cotuit Narrows for bass. Then later in the am I plan on wading the flats to see if the blues will come out and play again. I was toying with a boat shake down out of Scituate, but I really want another shot at those blues. I also don't want to have the first boat trip on a day a front with potential T-storms and high winds is coming through. Maybe I will meet some of you guys/gals down South for some fun.

Heading over to Nantucket for a long weekend, a lobster dinner, and some fishing.

No pressure though after last night's trip to the cape... yikes... the blues put a beatin' on me for 4 straight hours. Some outstanding action. Anyone who wouldn't enjoy that should check for a pulse.

Reports of bass and blues on the island, so I'll have to build alot of sand castles and collect alot of shells and hope my daughter lets me do some fishing. She's the boss.

Unfortunately, garden, garden, garden, more garden, and beer. Have to make up for last weekend when I fished for three days in Jersey. BTW, never did post a report here - To make a long story short, I fished with two different guys from SOL and also my cousin in two days. They all caught fish and people to both sides of us caught fish, I got skunk. Then Monday I was solo and ended up with 8 stripers 18" - 27 " and a 18" blue in a few hours. All is well that ends well, but this weekend is payback time so I can get out next weekend, hopefully.

maybe when patrick patents his beach fighting chair, they can come up with a kids version and we can strap 'em in and let 'em catch blues... then we could fish alongside of them without worry.

I'm heading to PA to visit the folks in couple weeks where I'm gonna give Brittany her first fishing experience. Should be fun to get some bluegill and small bass at the neighbors pond.

I'll probably create a little monster... everytime I'm going fishing... "daddy, I can come with you..."

Tonight we drown herring. Tomorrow I have to cut the lawn before a neighborhood kid gets lost in the deep growth ,maybe get a coat of bottom paint on the boat then any spare time goes into finishing another Canal Jig Stick. Sunday is Mothers Day.

HA!HA! Scoolie I think you need to change your "probably" into a "have" ....if she is already asking to go.....thats it bud....your done for now! Actually you should count your blessings. things could be worse, like "daddy, will you watch Barney with me"??? (ok so that all depends on her age I suppose)

Congradulations on your son getting married Clamdigger! And being the best man!
