Ponds on the cape

Does anyone know how thick the ice is around the Falmouth/Mashpee area in the larger ponds, like John's pond?

8 inches in Brewster! Some ok fish coming out to!! My buddy got to 6# bass in 2 days with a bunch of perch. twice now he has had something grabe the bait and take off screaming!! First time it broke his 10 # test 2nd time he saw the flag go up and started to run for it and it just about spooled the reel and broke off!!
He is going back today, he says he will get it one way or the other

Plenty of ice on the Cape. I hit Wequaket twice but fishing has not been good there, did see a guy land a 13 lb. pike but it was the only one out of 50 guys or so.

Thanks for the info guys, I'm actually looking to dial in the clutch on my snowmobile before my next trip to ME. I want to make sure the ice is strong enough to support a 500lb machine. 8 inches of ice is more than enough. Thanks guys.
