Boga Grip Case/Holster

Hi,

I was hoping I can get some suggestions on how to make a homemade case or holster for my 30lb Boga Grip. Too bad Eastaboga doesnt make any for surf fishermen, only a boat holster.

What I've done so far is get some clip devices from a scuba shop as well as a lanyard so I dont lose it. I can clip the "pincers" part right onto the plastic D-rings I have on my belt, while the other end holds the base of the grip.

HOWEVER, I dont like this set-up. The Boga still swings all over and basically looks sloppy. I would prefer to have some type of nylon sheath that would hold at least a portion of it tight to my belt and that would allow for easy removal.

Thanks in advance for your creative thinking!

This past fall when I was looking for a way to carry my Lip-Lock, T. Lapinski provided some advice on how to carry one.
I personally ended up using the leather holster that my Tin Snips from Home Depot came in. Goes on my belt and securely holds them without them slapping on by leg every step.

I don't think we have it up yet. It's built to go around a 2" belt loop and it has a D ring built into it. It looks a lot like that one on the Feather-craft website.

That will be great. The belt I have is the one I purchased from SWE. I'll wait until I see it and buy it. Thanks
