By the way
The reason why I kept her was because the current was so strong that by the time I got her in, she was practically dead. Also, I gut hooked her. Anyway, she'll make a good chowda.

I had my doubts about the length and weight when you posted earlier, but that is the biggest gut I've ever seen. That fish is a sow.
Was that fish full of herring? That gut is bigger than mine.
Don't take this the wrong way... I'm in no way criticizing you for taking that fish. But that was a future 50. I got one around 37" last year that was 20+ and it was just thick from head to tail. You knew it had the genes.
Good fish dude. Now put a big cheese on your mug.

Part that stinks for me is that I've been fishing there three times in the past week without a hit.
I was down there Wednesday in the high water (up to my chest) and got a little freaked out.
Had a very hard time getting back in once.
Sometimes the blind squirrel...
Later,
Rick
And the worst part is that I've got Sun and Mon off (rain) and then down to Georgia for work until Mother's Day.
Feel I'll be missin some good fishin.

Duke, send him a PM! That is the worst case of thread hi-jacking I have ever seen. Even though this is kind of hi-jacking my own thread. Plus that is a scene from a TV show about a cop. I'm bald and white, if I happened to be a cop, and had to arrest a black American would that make me a racist? C'mon now the Shield is a very popular show, even though I have never really watched it, I think you would of heard much more about negative stereotypes and racism by now if it was an issue in the program. Anyway, this thread is supoosed to be about me, me, me, me, me, oh yeah, and the fish, fish, fish. Read the "too many self proclaimed monitors" link please.
Thanks-BOMBA
