Not really !!! But time will tell! plus their defense should be 100 times better with all the additions they added!!!
Rich Gannon , though up there in age, was leageu MVP 2 years ago and an injury ended his year last season (plus Bill Callahan wanted the team to suck last year to get out of there)
Kerry Collins is a big strong guy but they don't have the personel to go to a deep ball passing game, Though Jerry Porter is a big time reciever with lots of speed to stretch the field!

Raider Ron, read today that Raiders going to cut Gannon and he is going to go to Tampa.? Don't know how true though.

It looks that way!, Gannon is due $7 mil this season and has said he won't take less

to Houston for Dan Pastorini
Pastorini broke his leg early in the season and never played again for them!
Fortunately we had a back up who the Pats drafted no 1 in 1970 and they had no clue how to utilize his talents !!!
but we did and he won 2 super bowls for us (Plunkett)
Maybe Drew Bledsoe will be released by the Bills and we will sign him as a back up !

If your O-line can buy Collins time to set up and throw, he'll do fine for ya.

The Giants had a terrible O-line last season, andf Collins has all the mobility of a bank vault. And, his mechanics are horrible when he's pressured or tries to throw on the run

Is this true?

By signing a whole bunch of old fogies, the Raiders have signed a contract to advertise Depends, and Viagra, along with Metamucil to jkeep their players regular?
