Interested in Fishing Today?

Going out the Merrimack this afternoon for some fishing til dusk. Launching at Cahman's dock. Anyone interested in coming along? Gonna try for some macks and then live line them in the river.

Lot's of showers through most of the afternoon. Caught about 20 pollock and only 3 mackerel. Then went and live lined the pollock in the Merrimack. Got 2 stripers in the high twenties, may or may not hae been legal but released both. Stayed at the docks overnight and went out early for bait. No pollock this morning but did get a few mackerel. Drfiting out the mouth on outgoing tide ran into a good amount of bluefish which kept cutting off my flouro leader. So I teid on a 6 inc h wire leader to the bottom of the flouro and caught a 30" bass. I guess a bass will occassionally hit a wire leader. Anyway, beautiful day on the water today, but very crowded.

Will keep you in mind.
