My boat is finished

I posted in the boat forum last week but I thought some of you guys that knew I was building a boat would like to know we launched it.
I just need to get it inspected and then registered now, then I can use the 9.9 Honda to see how she performs for real.

Nice lines on her Slip. Your gonna love that Honda. Don't know if they changed it but the 2000 models 9.9 and 15 are the same engine.
The difference is a governor on the 9.9 and a different carb jet on the 15. Ask your dealer, some of them will help you out,if you know what i mean!

thanks

I have a 97, bought it brand new in 99 I think. Got it for 1600 because it was a leftover. It was used as a trolling motor on the 22' walkaround I used to have. I asked about changing it to a 15, but too much stuff would need changing and I don't know enough about motors to do it myself. The 9,9 will be fine for this boat. Others that have built this model have used 15 hp motors on them and get more speed, but I think she will be fine even though I built it heavy, lots of epoxy and I glassed the bottom and put in floatation.

I can't wait to fish next to Got Stripers in a river sometime and try to outfish him
