Which is YOUR surfcasting Mecca?

What is your favorite surfcasting destination:

NOTE: You have had to actually FISH the place before you can rate it.

I have fished 6 or the 8 and I whole heartedly agree. I don't know Jersey or Montauk but I could see a record striper coming from any one of these eight (9) places. There is only one place not mentioned and I would be shot so I won't

These places are the centers of where the fish are. You look at the box of Montauk/Block/So Co and throw in the Race & Fishers as the last leg of the box - HUGE area and those fish don't seem to relate much to the other "BOX" Cape (including Canal), Cuttyhunk (including Liz isles), over to the Islands and back up to the Cape - there is your other box (of EEZ accessible fishing). These 2 boxes are the primary summer boxes. Everything else is pretty much migration related until the wintering grounds...

Surfcasting

If someone were to try surf fishing in Jerusalen, where could a
person park? Everytime I have gone there, I could never find a
place to park.

There are four or five parking spaces up against the fence just north of the traffic circle, there is also parking down by the state pier.

Thank you Mike. I didn't know that. What time do you have to get there to be able to find one of those spaces.?

My personal favorite is **** *****, there's just something about it that never fails to make it all worthwhile.

Uffa,
I was down there on Friday, actually there are mosre like ten spaces up against the fence and at least ten more by the pier. I have idea when the "busy"time is down there, there were three or four open spots at the pier at around 2PM on Friday.
