Need You're prayers Guys!

A little off topic but my family and I need you're prayers for my fishing partner ... my dog "Squirt".

He has been my fishing partner for all 7 of his years, and is in the hospital now facing a rather chancy surgery.

It started 4 days ago, I gave him a ham bone as a treat and being a rotty it didn't last very long.

Well the bone I found out has splintered into sharp chunks and is lodged in his colon.

After 18 enema's by 4 different vets, and even them trying to reach it through his anus to pull it out was to no avail.

He has a rock solid ball about the size of a lemon stuck and there is no way he can pass it, the opening just won't let it get any further and trying to grab it or break it up to smaller pieces only pushes back down further.

So now he's going for surgery tonight at 10:30 and its a 50-50 chance he won't survive the surgery because of contamination once they cut the colon open to remove the obstruction.

So please guys say a little something for him for me and my family as he is one of the family, it may sound funny but he is as important to me as my daughter is.

You's that have pets know what I mean, and please no wise cracks about if I care so much for him then why did I give him the bone in the 1st place, I feel bad enough already.
