5000 Posts....Once An Unachieveable Milestone!

5000 posts....where has the time gone? Such a great honor to eclipse a once unattainable milestone, and in such a short period of time! I owe it all to lots of idle time and the blessings of self-employment which include lots of slow periods! I would like to thank a few people for making this moment possible. (sound of paper containing way too long list of people to thank being opened) First of all I would like to thank BasicPatrick for turning me on to Striped-Bass.com...(now you all know who is responsible for me being here.....please be kind to Patrick, he knows not what he does.) Second I would like to thank my finger strength and tendon/cartilage conditioning coach Stretch, for his tireless hours of keeping my fingers limber for the marathon sessions at the keyboard and for all the times my fingers needed to be iced down due to swelling caused by being at the keyboard way more than I should have been. I also would like to take a moment to thank my anger management coach, Sven for his help getting me to breath deeply and to "let more things go".......I will try to see that he works harder at his job! I would like to thank my Mom and Dad, my sons, my girlfriend Fishchick and the rest of my family for their endless support (I know by me being on the computer so much it kept me out of their hair). Lastly and most importantly I would like to thank JohnR for creating and running such a first class, enjoyable site! Thanks JohnR. You love me....you really love me!

Thanks also to all of you fine folks that I have had the pleasure to meet over the past 2 years...life is that much more enjoyable for knowing all of you. I hope there is much more fun, many more laughs, and tons of fish in our future.
