Gilligan, in my opinion
If you don't like hunting, don't hunt.
Collect wild vegetables to stuff your gullet.
Don't wear leather shoes. What defense do cows have against you?
Don't use prescription drugs or other consumer products that may have been tested on animals. Poor lab rats.
And if you stalk and hook and catch and kill (or even release) fish, then you are a blankity-blank blankin hypocrite.
What defenses do fish have against you?
If you can swim out and catch fish with your bare hands or your teeth without any implements, and have served in the military, then goonie-goo-goo to you.

All I gotta say is that hunting is very important to control the wildlife population. Before you say something back Gillboy ask all the people down around boston who are having trouble with beavers and coyotes. They don't understand why either, geez you think its from when they banded trappin a few years back.
