not too mention that even with out the steel toes work boots arent the right tools for the job .

That was one lesson I learned the easy way. My father worked for New England Telephone/Bell Atlantic/Verizon. He worked outdoors year round, including climing poles ad such.
He warned me how bad steel toe boots are in the cold..
Chalk another one up for the old man......
