Extra Special Thanks to Redcrbbr
Bob - got to thank you for reintroducing me to your area a few weeks ago. The reason being, is I sent my grandfather down that way. He is 83 years old, and if anybody has read it, he is one of the guys that taught me to fish as per the story in the articles section of SOL which I wrote.
Well, Pop was there yesterday, and he managed a 30", 12lb blue, and two more a bit smaller. This was extra special, because for the last few years he would fish in Plymouth and Wareham with little, if any, luck at all. Early this summer he had said to me that he didn't think he would ever catch a fish again in his life. He was so exicited when I called him yesterday. Now he wants to go back again today!
I only wish I could have been with him to see his grin!
So, Redcrbbr, thanks for helping to make Pop's summer!!!!!

Steve,
God bless Charlie!
What a great story. It reminds me of the time I took my Grandfather out fishing for carp. He was in his 70's so a day of fishing for 12-20 pound carp out of a lawn chair -- sight fishing on top to boot -- was just what the doctor ordered.
What a great way to say thank you to the special people that took the time to get us into the sport.
Nice job redcrbbr!
Mike

Thanks Guys. While Pop doesn't have the Internet, my Mom will probably print out this thread and bring it to him. I'm sure it will make him smile all the more.
