Need some help

I have a bunch of questions on plug building so stay with me here! Now that I have a lot of free time on my hands I would like to keep busy.

What do you guys use to paint your plugs i use spary paint now but I want to have a hard shiny finish so after you spray them what do you use to "seal" them ?? Is there better paint than spray out there?

I want to make some swimming plugs like danny style but what do you use for the lip ?? and where can i get it.

I am also intrested in buying a lathe but I don't want to spend a lot of money any suggestions on where i can pick one up cheap?

Heres a look at my workshop I plan to make it a plug building station after a purchas some shelfing and build a larger bench.

Thanks

Grizzly mini-lathe for about 150 smackers. I don't have one yet but I hope to be getting it for xmas. It was much talked about on another website. I think the website is grizzly.com, but not 100 percent sure.

I use rod builders epoxy for my finish, You can add glitter to the epoxy and it will come out pissa......
i use spray paint, and You can articulate the cans to do a varity of effects to light fogging of one color over another to puttin the paint on heavy and gliding your finger over wet paint to swirl it together on a lathe..............
