8' 2" Striped Marlin

Hi from Cabo Land... In at 4AM out fishing at 6!

Landed and released a 8' 2" Striped Marlin on a live bait. Fought the fish Stand Up most the battle.

Out again tomorow!

Nice catch! Nice fight! Question though, those cuts on the underside look like the fish got caught by a wheel,(propeller). I ask this only because I remember my dad had a winning fish in a swordfish tournament disqualified when the captain backed down on the fish and cut it with a wheel. I also remember how pissed the old man was, and we never saw him come back pissed from fishing.....

Again, nice fish. I by no means wanted to detract from your trophy, nor hijack your thread.

DId you release him? You probably know that they can make recreations out of fiberglass and they look great. I would if I could ever catch one of those.

On my update time.... What happens in Cabo... Stays in Cabo.

Todat 1 7'6" Marlin, 1 Yellow Fin Tuna and 1 bull Darado.

Wife is pissed back home...
