my favorite lures for trout

is the silver and blue kastmaster or the one with the flourescent orange stripe... and if that doesnt work,,,i use the small brown spotted roostertail with the gold spinnerblade....which offers the flash of a circling trout and the brown for the fish food pellets their fed at the hatchery.... works like a charm..never had trout smoked though....sounds delicious.

I like the Thomas Bouyonts in Pearl with a yellow back or black. My two best colors last year. My Father in law was killing them on a colorado the other day.

i've been doing alright with a small yellowish/brownish and white kastmaster. last year it was the same pattern but on a swedish pimple. they seem to like that pattern in my pond.
