no shiet
same thing happened to me. I was tracking one for a week. I made sure I was on the computer write down to the last minute. I stop bidding after it flew past 140.00. I guess if you want it bad enough you can put down 1000 for your highest bid.

I can get it for 140 retail, so I am trying to get it for less. It always just seems to go past where I am bidding. If I bid 75 it ends at 80. If I bid 100 it ends at 105.
I don't know. I will try e-snipe. Thanks salty.

Ebay lesson #1
Never EVER bid on it unless you use esnipe or another bidding service like that....you will only raise the price artificially. There are ALOT of stupid people out there who will keep bidding up against you and end up overpaying....and then there's the guys who have their friends bid on their stuff to try and make you pay more.
Set a limit of what you WILL pay for it in Esnipe...then let it do it's thing in the last 6 seconds. If you put what it's worth in there you should win it...if you don't get the right price in there then you didn't really want it
I been beat on freakbay any way possible....esnipe is the only way to do it...and for what it costs it's WELL worth it...no more late nights waiting for auctions to close etc.

I use AuctionSentry it is another sniping program and is great. Like Salty said you don't have to dtay buy your computer. Just enter in what YOU are willing to pay and if someone overbids you then fine, let them have it. I send my bids in 10sec before end of auction. Up till that time NO ONE knows your bidding. Well worth it. Jon
