Lilfatbastud 2 !!!
Thinking of changing that to "Knuckleball darter" .. I think Jake/Fred suggested ..I'm going to keep making this until I get it right .. I put a beak on for initial dig.. Although the other darted extremelly well and was wondering if it was the dalveki style beak .. I also moved hook back to anchor it a little better..Next would be to make head narrower .. maybe I got to much plane area . This thing cast unreal ,,like a cannon ball ..I don't want to add any lead .. seems all the great darters have no weight added.. Please feel free to offer suggestions ..I make all Protos white or yellow for hi visability ..

i would love to test one of those for you
tagger, my only thughts that might make it dart better is to make the tail just a little bit pointier. Doing so could improve the hydrodynamics and maybe not create any drag behind the plug which would cause the tail to stay stationary.
i know that sounds strange, but after NIB's coaching i made 2 identicle darters and one had a sharper point in the tail- that one was drasticly better...

I think I'd try wrapping a little solder around the eye of the hook. If it don't flip then maybe a bigger hook or a belly weight. Just my mental wheels crushing rocks again...
