Short session tonight
Down right snotty miserable conditions out there tonight. I didn't last but a half hour actually fishing, one fish maybe 24 inches... Would have been more unbearable if not for the new Evo top
So who ventured out tonight?

I made it out.Fished from 5-9.Wasn't too bad down Newport way.Wind was mild no rain till about 8:30.
Lost one small keeper size bass .Landed one about 25" and caught my first blue of the year which actually ran about 9-10lbs.
Coulda been better but then again I coulda got skunked.

Was fishing the little compton area hooked up with 4 so-so bass... Bluefish are like clock work.. Just about the last week of May they show up in the area here... Basswipe did your blue look rather skinny or was it fat.. I got a skinny blue today that was maybe 38" long but fought like he just ate a freaking powerbar and washed it down with some gatorade... lol... 4 small bass of different shades...white with nice black stripes and a bright silver with broken stripes... they were all "barely legals" lol... all on wood!.....

I was out from 4:00-6:00 am before work. Landed one 41" 23# fish and lost an absolute monster. It was cold, but I still had a bead a sweat on my head after that fight. Maybe that was rain though???
